The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), a premier research university, has been selected as the world's top research university ahead of universities like Princeton, the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology, Harvard, etc. by the QS World University Rankings 2022. The institute teaches and conducts research in different fields and has innovators who have filed many patents.
